Construction Before & After in Long Beach, CA
We could tell you we do clean work, but you should see it for yourself. The projects below are the kind of remodels homeowners in Long Beach call us for most: bathrooms that stopped working the way a family actually lives, kitchens boxed in by walls that never made sense, and whole-home updates that honor the original house instead of fighting it. Each one started with a problem and ended with a space that works. That’s the job.

Bathroom Remodel in Belmont Heights: From 1970s Pink Tile to a Walk-In Shower That Drains
Before
AfterThe problem: a second-floor bathroom with original 1970s pink tile, a tub nobody used, and a floor that sloped the wrong way. Water pooled near the vanity every morning. We tore it down to the studs, rebuilt the subfloor with the correct pitch, and installed a curbless walk-in shower with Schluter edge trim (the metal strip that waterproofs where your tile meets the floor). The result is a bathroom that drains where it’s supposed to and looks like it belongs in this decade, not five decades ago.
Whole-Home Renovation in Bixby Knolls: Opening Up a 1950s Floor Plan Without Touching the Load-Bearing Wall
Before
AfterThe problem: a classic Long Beach ranch where the kitchen, dining room, and living room were each sealed off from the others. The homeowner wanted open sightlines but we found a load-bearing wall right where the opening needed to go. So we engineered a flush beam into the ceiling instead of tearing the wall out blindly – the kind of thing that separates a remodel from a structural problem six months later. New kitchen with KraftMaid cabinetry and a Caesarstone island now flows into the dining area, and you can see clear across the house from the front door.
Kitchen and Bath Refresh in Naples: Replacing Builder-Grade Fixtures After a Pipe Leak
Before
AfterThe problem: a slow pipe leak inside the wall had been soaking the back of the kitchen cabinetry for months before anyone noticed. By the time we opened it up, the bottom plates were soft and the builder-grade vanity in the adjacent bath was starting to swell. We replaced the damaged framing, installed new Kohler fixtures in both rooms, and topped the kitchen with Cambria quartz. The homeowner picked every material from a written sheet before we ordered anything, so there were no surprises on the invoice.
Primary Bath Expansion in Los Altos: Stealing Space From a Closet That Wasn’t Earning Its Keep

The problem: a primary bath so narrow that two people couldn’t stand at the sink at the same time, sharing a wall with a walk-in closet that was mostly empty shoe racks. We moved the wall four feet, converted the closet into a double vanity with Silestone counters and Toto fixtures, and carved out a separate water closet. The old linen cabinet became a linen closet in the hallway instead. Now the bathroom works for two adults getting ready at once, which was the entire point.
Exterior Update in El Dorado Park: Siding and Roof After Years of Long Beach Salt Air

The problem: original wood siding on a 1980s home had gone soft in a few spots, and the roof was past its useful life. Living two miles from the ocean means salt air works on a house year-round, even when it’s not raining. We stripped the bad siding, installed James Hardie plank, and reroofed with GAF architectural shingles. The house is tighter, drier, and quieter in the wind than it’s been in twenty years. It’s also going to stay that way for a long time.
Guest Bath Conversion in Park Estates: Turning a Tub-Shower Combo Into a Curbless Shower for Aging in Place

The problem: a guest bath with a tub-shower combo that required stepping over an eight-inch threshold, which is exactly what the homeowner’s mother can no longer do safely. We pulled the tub, flattened the floor, and built a curbless shower with a built-in bench and blocking behind the walls for grab bars. Moen fixtures and a handheld sprayer went in, along with a slip-resistant tile floor. It looks clean and modern, but the real work is in what you can’t see: solid blocking, proper waterproofing, and a floor that won’t hold water.
